In my opinion, students today have too much homework. Many students spend three or four hours every night finishing assignments, leaving little time to relax, exercise, or spend time with their families. I believe schools should focus more on the quality of homework rather than the quantity. A few thoughtful assignments can teach more than ten pages of repeated exercises. Some people argue that homework builds discipline, and that may be true — but too much of it can also cause stress and make students dislike learning. For these reasons, I think teachers should give shorter, more meaningful homework.
